Been working on the exhaust and brake lines on the 33' Phaeton.

I got most of the exhaust routed on the phaeton. Were running porter mufflers, and i've made side exhaust that open's in front of the muffler so its more of a straight pipe. Also I've run most of the brake lines on the car all out of stainless.

Got the rear spring mounted on the Phaeton.

I worked today on getting the rear spring mounted. I had to make up some spring hangers with the right dimensions for the spring. Got them tacked in place and the spring mounted. Its completely rolling by its self now. Just have to mount shocks, and run exhaust and brake lines and its pretty much finished.

We were lucky to have some old headers off another flathead here at the shop to use. I had to do some modifying to the rear exhaust leg on the drivers side so it would clear the steering tube.

Got the transmission mounted in the Phaeton

I worked on getting the transmission mounted. I had to clearance out the crossmember under the transmission a little more. Then I was able to make a trans mount.

Finished the rear crossmember on the Phaeton.

I finished re-shaping the rear crossmember. Now I have to make the spring hangers that attatch to the axle and hold the spring. But overall it raised the spring quite a bit over how it was stock.

Working on modifying the rear crossmember for the new spring on the Phaeton.

I worked today on modifying the rear crossmember. Were going to run a 36' straight spring and the crossmember needs to be flattened so that the I can mount the spring up higher on the axle.

First I put bracing all over so that nothing would move when I removed the rear crossmember. Then I cut out the center, and the removed the other two sides. I have to modify the center piece by taking out some pie cuts so that I can make it straight.

Got the rear Pete and Jake ladder bars tacked in place on the Phaeton.

I worked on getting the rear ladder bars tacked in place today. Now I can work on the rear spring.

I got started today on mocking up the engine and transmission in the Phaeton. There are a lot of things to make sure of before I get it mounted for sure, but its going to be somewhere right around where it is now.

Got the drivers front door patched on the Phaeton.

I finished up working out the dents and patching the drivers front door on the phaeton today. The door had lots of dents like the others, and it had some rust on the bottom. So I got the dents worked out first and then I made a patch for the rust and got that welded in.

Next is to get the body sandblasted and do any patching on it.
