Got the Vicky body on the new chassis.

I finished putting everything together on the chassis. Then I removed the Vicky body off of the old chassis and started fitting it to the new chassis. I had to do some tweaking on some of the mounting holes, but overall the body fit really well.

Got the crate engine for the Vicky.

We got the new crate engine for the Vicky today. And I also worked on getting the rear corners worked over, and made up some templates so that I can get the new metal rolled out to the proper curves to match the corner.

Getting the rear panel attached on the Vicky.

I worked today on getting the new rear panel I made attached to the lower panel. I first lined up the top bead exactly where I wanted it. Then I used some cleco's to clamp the new panel to the lower panel. Then I removed them both off of the car and trimmed them and got them tack welded together. Next I want to get the bead that goes into the wheel well to line up, and then I can make the corners.

Got the rear panel made on the Vicky

I worked the past few days on making the rear panel for the Vicky. After lots of rolling in the english wheel I got the panel shaped. Then I pressed in the top bead. Now I just have to trim it into the back of the car.

Got the wood buck made for the rear panel on the Vicky.

I worked today at my buddies cabnet shop making the wood buck for the rear panel on the Vicky. Its make fast and quick, just something to represent the shape of what I want the rear panel to be. That way as im shaping it I can lay it on the buck and check to see where I need to shape more.

Got the rear spring mounted on the Phaeton.

I worked today on getting the rear spring mounted. I had to make up some spring hangers with the right dimensions for the spring. Got them tacked in place and the spring mounted. Its completely rolling by its self now. Just have to mount shocks, and run exhaust and brake lines and its pretty much finished.
